Acrel Concludes Successful Participation at Electric Power Malaysia 2026

Acrel Co., Ltd. (300286.SZ) took part in Electric Power Malaysia 2026, held from June 3–5 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. The company showcased its microgrid energy management system (EMS 3.0), data center energy efficiency solutions, smart distribution upgrade technologies, and renewable energy protection products – drawing strong interest from regional power sector professionals.

Exhibition Highlights

Over the three-day event, the Acrel booth received more than 100 visitors from Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, and the Middle East. Attendees included EPC contractors, data center operators, industrial park facility managers, and electrical consulting engineers. Live demonstrations of the EMS 3.0 dispatch platform and the ANet intelligent gateway generated the highest engagement, with multiple visitors bringing project drawings for on-site technical consultations.

Key Solutions Presented

• Acrel-EMS 3.0 Microgrid Energy Management System – cloud-edge-device architecture enabling real-time coordination of PV, storage, loads, and EV charging, with peak shaving, demand response, and peak-valley arbitrage capabilities.

• Data Center Energy Efficiency Management – circuit-level power monitoring, battery bank diagnostics, and power quality analysis (up to 63rd harmonics) to support PUE optimization.

• Renewable Energy Protection – anti-islanding relays (AM5SE-S) with four detection methods (over/under voltage, over/under frequency, ROCOF, vector shift) and DC insulation monitors (AIM-D100-T) for fault location within 5 seconds.

• Smart Distribution Retrofits – wireless temperature monitoring (LoRa, 500 m range) and multi-circuit meters (ADW210, four 3-phase circuits) enabling non-disruptive upgrades to legacy switchgear.

Medical IT Isolated Power Systems – insulation monitoring and fault location for operating theatres and ICUs, with proven deployment at Penang General Hospital.

Market Response

Visitors showed particular interest in grid-connection safety for solar projects and wireless temperature monitoring for ageing distribution cabinets. Several renewable energy EPC firms from Indonesia and Vietnam inquired about floating PV applications, while data center operators requested detailed case studies on PUE improvement. The Penang Hospital project was repeatedly cited as a reference for healthcare infrastructure expansion.
